*applies to all events that The
Black Sheep provides at least one staff member
Contract:
In order for The Black Sheep to secure an event date, The Black Sheep
must have a signed contract from the client accompanied by a 25%
deposit. The details of this deposit and terms for the contract can be
found in said contract.
Guest Count:
A guaranteed guest count is due ten days prior to the event. The final
bill will be based on this guest count and is due seven days prior to
the scheduled event. If the actual count is lower than the guaranteed
count, the client may be billed for the higher guaranteed guest number.
If the client wishes to increase the guest number less than ten days
prior to the party, it will be at The Black Sheep's discretion and may
necessitate a 25% increase per person for each additional guest.
Furthermore, any substitutions or additions to the menu may be subject
to a similar 25% surcharge. Deletions will be at The Black Sheep's
discretion.
Service Charge:
There is a 15% service charge on all catering events contracted by The
Black Sheep. This service charge is not a gratuity. This service charge
covers: any and all meetings between the Catering Manager and the
client; any and all meetings with the property manager of the event
location; phone calls to suppliers and/or to the rental company; any
additional shopping needed to be done in order to assure you, the
client, of the freshest ingredients.
Outside Labor:
The Black Sheep, once contracted, is responsible for providing all
necessary labor. This includes: bartenders, wait staff, and cooks. If
the clients request to provide their own labor it will be at the The
Black Sheep's discretion. All outside labor must meet our catering
director at the client's expense to discuss the event, their duties,
uniforms, and appearance and provide proof of their work experience.
Tipping:
A tip is not included in the final bill. This is left to the discretion
of the client. If you would like to tip the staff but you have
questions concerning what is appropriate, please contact the Catering
Manager.
